The Drawing & Design Process
Everything laid out clearly so you know how it all works.
This page lays out all the info to help me give every client the same care and manage my time smoothly. Please be sure about your tattoo idea before booking, as full redesigns may come with a fee.
When?
I’ll email your drawing over on Thursday morning, the week before your appointment. This doesn’t include simple symbols or elements that don’t require changes.
If you’d like anything adjusted, please send your feedback by Friday lunchtime. This gives me enough time to make the changes and get the updated design back to you.
Most changes need to be made on the Thursday or Friday, but don’t worry if it’s something very small — things like slightly moving or repositioning an element can sometimes be adjusted together before we start your tattoo on the day.
This timeline helps me make sure I have enough time to work through any changes while also keeping on top of my drawing workload.
I’m unable to send drawings any earlier due to my weekly workload, so thank you so much for your patience and understanding!
What?
Generally you will receive a line drawing only.
For larger scale drawings you may be sent some rough sketches initially to confirm shapes placements and layouts initially, this is not always the case and I can not guarantee time of delivery for these.
Where?
All drawings will be emailed to you to the address you provided please check your spam folder if you can not initially see it. If you still don’t see it please feel free to message me!
What Now?
Can I make changes?
Of course! Your booking fee includes two rounds of revisions. Each revision counts as one request or email, so please try to include all your changes together and be as specific as possible.
Please send any changes by Friday lunchtime, the week before your appointment, so I have enough time to update your design.
Please check your design!
Whether you approve your design in person or by email, you have final approval before we tattoo it.
Please take a moment to carefully check all details, including spelling, dates and translations. Once you’ve given your approval, you’re confirming that everything is correct and ready to tattoo.
Other Information
Emailing & Contact
I’m off on Sundays and Wednesdays and only respond to aftercare emails on those days. For other questions, please email me—I don’t check Instagram often. I try to respond quickly but if its a busy week my admin day is Monday/ Tuesday so I will respond quicker then.
Please send all reference info at least one week before your appointment, as I draw on a set day each week. Last-minute changes or additions may disrupt the design process.
Changes on the Day
Significant size changes or new amendments on the day that weren’t agreed on beforehand may increase the price. I’ll always let you know before we start tattooing.
